Niepoort 20 Year Tawny Port

The vineyards used for this tawny are Vinha da Pisca, Vale do Pinhao and Ferrao all in the Cima Corgo sub region of the Douro. The average age of the vines is in excess of 60 years old.

The wine is aged in small old casks (550L) in Niepoort's cellars at Vila Nova de Gaia for over 20 years. The balanced marriage of the different characteristics and diverse ages is the art of the Niepoort master blender Jose Nogueira.
